I became interested in working with Medicare when my Dad turned 65. As a Mechanical Engineer by trade, he was frustrated that he couldn’t make sense of it all and he worried about having enough coverage for numerous health concerns. Being in the healthcare field, I didn’t imagine that Medicare would be so overwhelming!
With my passion for helping, I obtained my license in 2007 and acquired broad experience with each client’s unique situation. As a mom of a child with chronic health needs, I quickly became an advocate as I dealt with insurance appeals, unpaid claims and frustrating customer service calls. In 2013, I started my own agency as an independent broker with a goal of being a trusted resource and advocate for my family, friends and clients.
Wanting to offer personal attention to each client, I partnered with a colleague in 2022 to form Central PA Advisors, an affiliate company which would allow me to offer a friendly staff, an office space and bring on additional agents, Jolynn and Casey. Our joy is getting to know our clients, helping and being there for them long term. Jolynn Holtzman is a licensed Medicare insurance agent with Community Benefits Solutions LLC, an affiliate of Central PA Advisors LLC. She brings a wealth of experience to the organization from over 13 years of working in higher education as a liaison with employer groups and community organizations.
Casey is a licensed health and Medicare agent who has worked in a variety of clinical and social healthcare settings over the last 15 years and has enjoyed assisting individuals navigate both state and federal insurance systems, such as Medicare, Pennie Marketplace and Medicaid. She feels that what’s most important is listening to the wishes of the clients and ensuring that they are comfortable and understand the choices they are making.
